UK Eco House features SANYO s CO2 heat pump

Feb. 03, 2010 – SANYO has supplied its CO2 heat pump for a ground-breaking Eco House in Devon, UK. The Eco House will serve as training and educational centre on heat pumps for field engineers, architects and local authorities.

Located at the campus of Petroc College in Devon, UK, the Eco House features working examples of the latest technology for harnessing high efficiency and renewable energy.

SANYO has now provided the Eco House with its CO₂ ECO heat pump, which is being used in conjunction with solar collectors to provide low cost hot water to radiators serving the two lower storeys of the three-storey super-insulated building.
