The first existing home in the Netherlands, which is converted to a “zero energy” home. The electricity is generated by (15.5 kWp) Kyocera solar panels (50% facing east and 50% facing west) and converted to 230V AC through SMA inverters (yield 10500 kWh/year). Heating and hot water are provided by an air-to-water electric heat pump (Mitsubishi Zubadan, 11,2 kW heat). The house was already fully equipped with radiant floor heating.
